gardens in autumn

my garden is a mess. i wish i could say it's not, but it is. i had to dig out the old garden manual to see what i should be doing now, as winter approaches. apart from pruning, and making sure the plants in the greenhouse are warm enough and fed for the winter months, i can actually look forwrd to some lovely autumn flowers and veg in winter and spring....hope your garden is in better shape than mine. if not, don't despair. there's still time. and if you're not too keen, why not head over to your local cornershop and find a reputable garner to do the job for you. they start at about £10 and hour. a few hours a week shouls be sufficient if your garden is not humongous!
